Experience Iceberg Alley
Circumnavigate an iceberg an hour offshore of Fogo Island or observe them from the comfort of your king size bed at the Fogo Island Inn, a 29-room luxury inn perched on stilts atop jagged rocks in Newfoundland. Located along “Iceberg Alley” in the wild North Atlantic, the Fogo Island Inn is perfectly situated for taking in the ever-changing hues that highlight these pieces of ancient ice carried south by the powerful Labrador Current. Whether you do your iceberg watching during a boat excursion or take in the views from the Fogo Inn’s floor to ceiling windows, you’ll have a front row seat for viewing the movements of these 10,000-year-old glacial giants. Hard Rock Cafe sign joins the Neon Museum
There’s a new addition to the Neon Museum Las Vegas. The newly restored, re-electrified Hard Rock Café guitar sign was transported to the Neon Museum Boneyard after gracing the front of the Hard Rock Café for 27 years. An important piece of Las Vegas history, it was the world’s first Hard Rock Café guitar sign and appeared in several Hollywood films. In its new home, it joins many other vintage Las Vegas neon signs rescued from demolished motels, casinos, theatres and shops. Open to the public for guided tours and general admission, the Neon Museum is a non-profit organization dedicated to salvaging, preserving, studying and exhibiting iconic Las Vegas signs.
